Product Management is alive and well in San Francisco and Silicon Valley! Over the next two weeks Ron Lichty and I will be canvasing three different venues where product managers and product team members gather to learn and share insights.
It all begins tomorrow (October 2nd) as Ron leads off with a presentation at the Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA). He will be presenting some very insightful findings from this year’s Study of Product Team Performance. Ron was one of the co-authors and has a lot to say on the study’s findings. He’s particularly animated about the current status of waterfall and what practitioners think about its impact on profitability! I want to thank our friends at SVPMA for helping with the study and assisting us in getting the word out.
Ron and I then tag team at Silicon Valley Code Camp. This is the second year that I’m presenting – this year with Ron. I had the honor of presenting with Cindy F. Solomon last year. If you’re unfamiliar with Silicon Valley Code Camp it’s worth checking out. They put on a great event that gets bigger every year.
Speaking of Cindy F. Solomon, she is the organizer of ProductCamp San Francisco. Cindy has provided Ron the opportunity to share more information about this year’s study at this year’s event. Ron and I want to thank Cindy for the opportunity.
So if you’re in San Francisco or Silicon Valley over the next couple weeks come check out one of our events. We would love to see you.
